Written Fragments

The unvarnished lyric sheets.

Autobiographical dust captured in late-night playback. These pages hold the raw stories that forced their way out of the dark.

Extreme close-up of a dusty vintage mechanical typewriter key striking textured paper, dramatic low-key chiaroscuro lighting, single warm gold light source from the side, deep shadows.

The Method

Ink, tape, and time

Songwriting is not an exercise in polish. It is a slow, physical excavation. Every line is typed on a heavy mechanical keyset, leaving ink on paper and room tone on the magnetic tape.

There are no committee edits or digital corrections here. If a word feels heavy, it stays. The imperfections are where the truth lives.

Selected Works

Two songs from the dark

TRACK 02: MIDNIGHT STATIC Cold glass against the windowpane. The radio hums a low, forgotten refrain. We built a house on shifting sand, with empty pockets and a heavy hand.

TRACK 05: THE FLOORBOARDS I hear the room breathing in the dark. A single match, a dying spark. We buried the noise deep below, where the analog tape runs slow.
